Euro 2020: This weekend’s footie action
There’s plenty not to be missed this weekend with Hungry v France kicking off at 2PM GMT, then Portugal v Germany at 5PM and at 8PM Spain v Poland. Euro 2020.
There’s some money to be made on the draw between Hungary and France at 4/1, with all round odds at a 12/1 win by Hungary against the favourite in a win by France at 1/4. The draw is a real possibility and for those wanting a fun punt, it’s a fair bet that may well pay off. Our bet’s on France taking the game.
Spain v Poland’s bookie lineup is again on the Latinos with the Poles not able to take the heat with a win by Spain at 1/3, the draw at 4/1 or for the underdog to win, Poland at 8/1. We reckon there will be plenty of proud Poles contemplating the bottom of their beer glasses with money down the drain if national pride takes precedent, but we would like to be proven wrong.
The bookies back Portugal to win against Germany we are think they are not wrong, with odds on a win by Portugal shortened to 11/5, the draw at 21/10 and Germany to win at 5/4.
Tomorrow, kicking off at 5PM we have Italy v Wales and crossing over Switzerland v Turkey also at 5PM so set your record buttons to be sure not to miss both matches.
Turkey were thrashed 3 nil by the undefeated Italian team on the first matchday of 11th June, how are they going to fare against Switzerland? Our money’s on the Swiss team coming up trumps with a 2 nil win against Turkey, who could come nowhere close to scoring against the Italians in the last match.
The bookies all round odds for these matches are:
Switzerland v Turkey:
Switzerland to win – 4/6
Draw – 11/4
Turkey to win – 15/4
Italy v Wales is going to be a lively match, with the Latino fire against the Welsh warriors, our bets are on Italy who have scored 3-0 wins in both Euro 2020 games so far. Odds are;
Italy to win – 4/9
Draw – 11/5
Wales to win – 7/1
For those who fancy backing the Dragon there’s a fair return there if it comes off but will the Dragon’s defeat the Italian heat? We think not.
